Union Bank is looking for a Master Data Management Services Manager in Monterey Park, CA. The post states, “Reporting to SVP, Group Technology Manager, responsible for the day to day management of the Enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) Services provided by the IT Group. Responsible for MDM definition, development, operation and management of these services within the Enterprise Data Architecture. Ensure that the MDM services meet customer needs across all major use cases and constituencies. The services provided by this group will include common MDM functions applied to the Bank’s largest master domains. Creates the MDM technology services, beginning with the implementation of the customer domain.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Typically at least 8 to 10 years direct work experience in enterprise data projects, with at least 2 to 3 years of direct experience with at least one leading MDM tool suite. Customer oriented with a drive to provide excellent levels of services. Knowledgeable across a broad spectrum of uses and techniques for MDM. Effective team leadership and ability to execute. Ability to communicate with both business and technology people. Familiar with fundamental Enterprise data integration technologies and methods such as ETL and data services. Able to see the big picture while also focusing on the important details. Preferred Experience working within the commercial banking industry. Experience implementing an MDM tool where none previously existed. Experience with Continuous Improvement techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc. Experience managing Enterprise Common Technology Assets.”
