VMware is looking for a Senior Data Governance Manager in Palo Alto, CA. The company seeks someone to “establish a repeatable & scalable governance framework for install base and service contracts data. Critical to this role is a proven track record in prioritizing and remediating data quality issues within Order Processing, Maintenance Renewals, and Global Support Services systems. This role will be responsible for understanding the end to end data architecture for our GSS & Renewals systems, how the data flows within it, and how the data is leveraged within our business processes to identify potential impact points as processes and systems change.”
Qualifications for this position include the following: “Minimum of 4-7 years experience in leading data quality improvement initiatives within the software or high tech industry. Experience establishing and managing data governance forums. Experience managing teams directly and indirectly. Strong, team oriented leadership skills: Able to frame and confront issues and make tough decisions. Highly analytical with the ability to quantify business value and link them to data quality initiatives. Self-directed with strong initiative and a passion for data governance and data quality.”
