Liberty Mutual is looking for Senior Data Modelers in Dover, NH. The post states, “Liberty Mutual Personal Market IT has an immediate need for Senior Data Modelers. We’re looking for someone with experience with data warehouse design concepts and an understanding of relational third normal form design concepts. We’re looking for someone with good communication skills both written and verbal who can communicate well with both technical staff and business users. The data modeler also needs to be able to assist the business and data analysts in gathering requirements and translating those requirements into logical and physical data warehouse models. The individual should be comfortable working on several projects simultaneously (3 or 4 projects maximum).”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Familiarity with database and data modeling concepts including conceptual, logical & physical data modeling, with emphasis on Data Warehousing and Reporting models. Familiarity with a database modeling tool, such as ERWIN, Visio, IBM IDA (Infosphere data architect) or RSA (Rational Software Architect) tools is a plus. Familiarity with SQL Programing language, experience with a statistical analysis tool (SAS, SPSS), or experience with a Business Reporting tool (MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Cognos, Microsoft Analysis Services. Must possess a high-level of attention to detail. Familiarity with or desire to learn data warehousing concepts.”
