Automatic Data Processing is looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Developer at its office in Seattle, WA: “The Senior Data Warehouse Developer will contribute to the technical definition and implementation of data warehouse projects that advance Cobalt’s strategic business initiatives. This person will partner with Product Managers, Warehouse Architects, ETL Developers, Test Engineers and others to translate business objectives into projects that extend Cobalt’s Intelligence capabilities. Additionally, this person will work with team members in continuous improvement efforts for the warehouse including standards development, automated testing, and transitioning warehouse processes to operational teams.”
Essential functions of the position include, “Design and implement technical solutions that touch on database, ETL, and reporting technologies. Translate business needs into technical requirements for the implementation team. Partner with a cross-functional project team through all phases of the project lifecycle, from needs analysis through deployment. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying technology and process improvements and creating plans for resolution. Develop/review technical documents to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance with standards and architectural directions as they relate to the warehouse environment. Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members, participate in code reviews as well as in the development of coding standards.”
