First Data is looking for a Senior Manager for Master Data Management and Data Governance in Atlanta, GA. According to the post, this position “is responsible for the vision and delivery of the core systems and processes for Master Data Management and Data Governance, including capabilities to manage Customer Master, Product Master, Associate Master, and other business entities that may be defined, business glossary, metadata and overall Data Governance policies coordination for the enterprise. This role will guide the delivery teams to solutions that will bring value to the project and business unit while building an enterprise set of assets.”
It continues, “The Sr. Manager for Master Data Management and Data Governance will define vision for the solutions to enable greater visibility for the executive and management of First Data. This Manager will work with all business units to lead the organization to execute building the data assets needed for internal management of the company master data and metric definitions to support the Enterprise Data Warehouse, as well as, transactional systems and processes. The role will manage the relationship with the business units requesting the solution and others department affected by it. The role will also propose, define, refine and follow-up on data quality related to the data assets being managed.”
