CA Technologies is looking for a Senior Director of Master Data Management in Islandia, NY. According to the post, “CA Technologies is looking for a proven leader to partner with the IT leadership team and business leaders in developing technology strategy and solutions that will enable business goals. The dynamic individual will provide leadership to a team of IT professionals, to define, plan, communicate and implement a successful Enterprise Master Data Management program that improves business process by improving productivity and efficiency across the enterprise. This leader will have had experience working in and defining best practices for Enterprise Master Data Management. This will include leadership and coordination of the Enterprise Master Data Management function and global team, working in partnership with the business and application teams.”
Qualifications for the position include: “The successful candidate will have typically 12 years or more of IT experience with 5 or more years of leadership experience. We are looking for a leader who is intelligent, articulate and persuasive and can develop an effective team. This individual will demonstrate the ability to drive and implement change initiatives within a global organization. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with related areas of the business particularly in the user communities. Solid understanding of IT and IS as well as strong interpersonal skills such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. Must be able to analyze operational data and make fact-based decisions that improve the business as well as work in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team. Previous experience leading master data management initiatives is required. This role will require approximately 10% travel.”
