DirecTV is looking for a Senior Director of Business Intelligence in Los Angeles, CA. The post states, “We are seeking a Senior Director of Business Intelligence and Strategy, responsible for leading a team of data solution architects and designers/modelers data extract and transform technicians, enterprise data warehousing DBAs. This role reports to the VP for DIRECTV Enterprise Business Intelligence. This leader will build a powerful BI data capability to produce insights that drive strategic decisions for the enterprise; supports each business department with their data needs to operate day to day business; to anticipate opportunities and proactively solve problems.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Working knowledge of leading data environments required, for both structural (relational data warehouse – Teradata, Oracle, SQL, SAS, etc); understand unstructured data (Cassandra, Hadoop, Webtrends, Omniture, etc); ETL tools – Informatica; and Dimensional modeling; understanding of the latest trends with Big Data and any other new technologies for data integration and analytics. Managed an organization of 30 resources or more.”
