Data Job of the Day: Sr. Manager Enterprise Information Architecture & DG

Whirlpool is looking for a Senior Manager of Enterprise Information Architecture and Data Governance in Benton Harbor, MI. According to the post, “Strategically the role is responsible for collaboratively defining and articulating the strategy and standards within the Enterprise Data and Integration domains, with a special focus on the SAP NetWeaver components as our strategic platform and the Data Steward initiative to ensure business ownership for the maintenance of key data elements.  You will educate and influence key stakeholders throughout the both the business and GIS, leading the development and implementation of the Data Architecture strategy and roadmap.”

It continues, “Tactically, the Enterprise Information Architect will manage a team of Solution Architects, Platform Analysts, and Data Governance Analysts to drive the coordinated technology and infrastructure requirements for executing an application and business capability roadmap.  Additionally, you will lead the architecture of major solutions and provide direction and guidance to internal and partner project managers and developers to ensure that requirements are met in an architecturally sound manner, meeting fundamental technical requirements such as scalability, security, flexibility, extensibility, reusability and supportability.”
