LexisNexis seeks a Vice President of Enterprise Data in Dayton, Ohio: “Reporting to the VP Global Enterprise Information Solutions, this position will establish and sustain a company wide data governance structure that includes defining data ownership and stewardship, coordinating supporting technologies and organizing business operations to ensure data is being managed as a key asset of the company. This role will be the focal point for enabling a “culture change” focused around data management that ultimately improves LexisNexis Customers experience as well as internal effectiveness. This role will own the Master Data Management strategy and roadmap to ensure data management is consistent and effective across all enterprise systems.”
The post continues, “The incumbent collaborates with business unit customers to understand business needs and proposes and implements data management solutions that are competitive and align to the overall goals of an Enterprise approach to data management and systems. The initial focus will be on data quality, consolidation and movement, as well as information structure, information management and information flows. Establishing single enterprise “golden” repositories of key elements such as Customer, Product and Price will be essential for early success. The incumbent will manage a virtual Data Governance organization that is comprised of business and IT members with a mixed representation from different levels of the organization.”
