Lowe’s is searching for a Vice President of Enterprise Data Management in Mooresville, NC. According to the post this position will: “Set strategic vision for Lowe’s collection and syndication of data, which leads the retail industry in best practices and data architecture to enable speed to market and the highest level of data optimization for an omni-channel retailer. Design, implement, and drive the enterprise-wide data centralization strategy that executes the collection, cleansing, maintaining, and sharing of all product, customer and vendor data. Collect, organize and integrate data in a flexible way that optimizes its value and utility for different end users throughout the company. Facilitate access to data and reporting that informs and enables planning, purchasing, selling, fulfillment, marketing, servicing, measuring and evaluation of work streams.”
Qualifications include: “10+ years of managerial responsibilities with direct reports. 7+ years of database management experience. Solid understanding of business / information systems including those for the retail industry. Experience planning, organizing, developing and managing a corporate department. Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives. Knowledge of data management, data quality, with in-depth expertise of data optimization strategy. Proven ability to resolve complex issues relating to enterprise wide data architecture concerns. Ability to lead through influence within a matrixed environment while managing the needs of various internal partner groups. Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills. Experience creating and implementing data quality metrics. Proficient with data modeling tools and processes and with database design.”
