Gap Inc. is still on the lookout for a Vice President of Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence in San Bruno, CA. According to the post, “The role owns the end-to-end EDW/BI strategy, development, implementation and continuous innovation of the strategic and tactical information management function for the company. Partners with CIO, VP Inventory Management/Enterprise Information and leads EDW/Business Intelligence for the enterprise. Strategically partners and collaborates with Executive Sponsor (Gap Inc CFO) as well as Senior Leadership across all Brands and Functions within Gap Inc. to ensure solutions and processes are prioritized and then implemented successfully, pragmatically and quickly.”
Qualifications include: “Typically has 14-16 years of IT and business/industry work experience including EDW/BI architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and EDW/BI planning and operations. 10+ years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders. Experience in delivery of EDW/BI solutions in a multi-brand and specialty retail environment with heavy data volume and usage. Broad knowledge of information management, business intelligence and data warehouse technologies, including data warehouse concepts, data modeling, OLAP tools and reporting tools in a retail context. Broad understanding of data and integration architectures, products and techniques. Strong understanding of, Micro-strategy, Essbase, Teradata, Data-Stage, Oracle.”
