MGM is looking for a Vice President of Information Management in Las Vegas, NV. Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Manage MGM Resorts International’s Information Management – Center of Excellence with the following core functional areas : Enterprise Data Management (EDM),Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW),Business Intelligence (BI). Ensure that it supports the short-term and long-term business requirements and corporate strategic initiatives of MGM Resorts International. Gather, define and translate the information requirements, and data sources necessary to build and maintain the data warehouse, data management and BI system of MGM Resorts International. Approve system designs as well as system modifications to determine if they meet requirements for compatibility with the overall data architecture.”
Qualifications include: “At least 12 years prior experience in IT in a technical role (database management, development and/or Business Intelligence). Proficiency in IT change management principles of IT organizational, financial management and IT strategic planning. Experience in IT contracting negotiations and licensing as well as oversight in assuring quality control and system dependability. Proven ability to lead staff to secure resources, expertise and approvals necessary to implement large-scale IT solutions. Previous leadership experience. Excellent customer services skills. Ability to lead and mentor a team. Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.”
