A recent press release states, “Dataguise, a leader in data privacy protection and compliance, and Snowflake, the only data warehouse built for the cloud, today announced that DgSecure software has been integrated into Snowflake’s cloud-based data warehousing platform. The technology partnership provides an end-to-end solution for compliance-ready data analytics to joint enterprise customers impacted by high levels of governmental oversight. A datasheet detailing the combination of Dataguise and Snowflake can be viewed at https://www.dataguise.com/sensitive-data-governance-in-snowflake/.”

Snowflake’s Director of Technology Alliances, Tarik Dwiek said, “Concerns about governing sensitive data are hindering organizations from moving more workloads to the cloud… Integrating DgSecure with Snowflake provides a seamless end-to-end solution, protecting sensitive data and satisfying compliance and governance requirements.  We’re thrilled to be launching our partnership with Dataguise and expect this capability to safely and securely enable organizations to become data-driven.”

The release continues, “Dataguise DgSecure is widely deployed by Global 2000 organizations with multi-petabyte data repositories concerned with data privacy compliance — particularly consumer privacy. DgSecure simplifies data privacy and regulatory compliance quickly and easily with an out-of-the-box solution that is administrator-friendly and eliminates the need to program – saving time, resources, compliance costs, and complexity. The solution allows for the identification of all personal and sensitive data, including names, identification numbers, location data, online identifiers or factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of a natural person using a combination of machine learning and behavioral analytics.”
