Expert System Wins SIIA Business Technology CODiE Award

According to a recent article out of the company, “Expert System, the leader in cognitive technology for the effective management of unstructured information today announced that its Luxid Webstudio was honored as the best Metadata Management Solution of 2016 as part of the 2016 SIIA CODiE Awards.  Additionally, the company’s Cogito solution was named a finalist for Best Text Analytics & Semantic Technology. The winner announcement was made by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries, to an audience of over 300 leaders. 61 awards were given for products and services deployed specifically for B2B software, information and media companies.”

The article continues, “An SIIA CODiE Award win is a prestigious honor as each award winner was reviewed by a field of industry experts, whose evaluations determined the finalists. SIIA members then reviewed the finalists and their votes were combined with the scores from the industry experts’ to select this year’s CODiE Awards winners. ‘We are honored to be the recipient of this year’s CODiE award for Best Metadata Management Solution. This recognizes our efforts in creating an industry first integration between ontology management and semantic enrichment layers’ said Daniel Mayer, CEO of Expert System.  ‘Thanks to this, precisely governing metadata schemes and applying them to content has never been easier, resulting in the lowest Total Cost of Ownership in the industry’.”
