A new press release states, “Fortscale Security Ltd., the innovator in machine learning-based user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) for security, today introduced Fortscale Presidio™, the industry’s first embedded UEBA engine that natively expands capabilities of existing security solutions. The unveiling comes as the company secures $7M in its latest funding round, led by Evolution Equity Partners and Valor Capital Group. Presidio leverages the predictive, big data analytics and machine-learning engine of Fortscale’s award-winning UEBA platform for insider threat detection to enable security vendors to quickly and simply incorporate advanced behavioral analytics into their security platforms. Presidio adds native risk-based intelligence on the activity of users and entities within a company’s environment to enhance analysis and security enforcement – ultimately improving the performance and effectiveness of the overall security infrastructure.”

Idan Tendler, founder and CEO of Fortscale, commented, “Fortscale Presidio is a game changer, as it allows other security solutions to leverage, for the first time, an advanced analytics engine to improve their ability to identify insider threats and enhance their mitigation capabilities with behavior-based risks and alerts,” said . “Because Presidio is natively embedded in their current security infrastructure, end users get the full benefit of the context and insights that behavioral analytics provide, without having to deploy and manage another product.”

The release goes on, “Fortscale Presidio instantly upgrades a company’s security infrastructure and products with machine-learning analytics. ‘It can instantly add artificial intelligence to security products, helping to identify the most important insights from enormous volumes of data,’ added Tendler. Presidio can be integrated into on-premise security products or as a UEBAaaS in cloud products, providing customizable and unique data models, behavioral capabilities and application program interfaces (APIs) designed to make integration with security infrastructure solutions, such as SIEM, EDR, EPP, CASB, DLP, and IAM, simple and effective.”
