Hortonworks Data Platform Modernizes IT for Hewlett Packard Enterprise

A recent article out of the company reports, “Hortonworks, Inc. a leading innovator of open and connected data platforms, today announced that Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is upgrading its Enterprise Analytics and Business Intelligence capabilities using the Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP®). HDP will enable HPE to securely integrate the tools it needs and achieve higher performance, all at a significantly lower cost. HPE is currently executing an end-to-end IT transformation that will reduce cost, speed transactional processing, improve reporting and deliver high advanced analytics. This modernization of its current data architecture with HDP will decrease operating costs by millions, but also deliver significant improvements in HPE’s Enterprise Analytics and Business Intelligence areas.”
