Infosys has released a new report entitled Human Amplification in the Enterprise, which can be downloaded here. According to the company, “A new study by Infosys on AI and automation found that enterprises with equal emphasis on automation, innovation and learning are advancing the furthest with digital transformation… The study, ‘Human Amplification in the Enterprise,’ surveyed more than 1,000 business leaders from organizations of more than 1,000 employees, with $500 million or more annual revenue and from a range of sectors, all in the U.S.”
Key findings from the study include: “86% say AI-supported activities play some role in their digital transformation. 98% of respondents who used AI-supported activities to power their digital transformation indicate that it generated additional revenue for their organizations. 63% of the respondents who have achieved their automation mandate say their organizations developed 20 or more valuable innovations in the past 12 months. Significantly, 93% of U.S. businesses that reported being mature in digital transformation said lifelong learning is extremely important, while 29% that report limited progress did not highly value learning.”
