[Article edited for clarity.] Moscow, Russia, May 10, 2013 –(PR.com)– Center of Intelligent Information Technologies INTELTEQ, a small but fast-growing Russian company that specializes in semantic modeling, was included in Gartner’s list of Cool Vendors in Information Governance and MDM (Master Data Management) 2013 report. The company utilizes a semantic modeling tool called Semantic Topology.
INTELTEQ is not a software company. It provides methodology and consulting services for top management while helping to recognize and assign semantic value to Master Data at all stages of information governance. INTELTEQ’s Semantic Topology contains a limited set of base terms (or nodes) structured in a matrix grid. This allows users to set semantic values to data by describing nodes using surrounding semantic terms.
“Information Governance is a huge industry with unpredictably larger potential than anyone could expect. It is quite difficult for a small company to make big steps in the industry, but I believe that inclusion in Gartner’s Cool Vendors list is recognition that will help us make bigger steps in the near future,” said Vitaly Rubanov, Managing Director of INTELTEQ.
Center of Intelligent Information Technologies INTELTEQ was incorporated in 2010 in order to monetize its semantic modeling tool called Semantic Topology (also known as Rubanov’s Icosahedron). The methodology is applicable for Information Governance of all categories: Master Data, Media-Content, Enterprise Data Storages. Applying methodology helps significantly reduce search time by using semantic tags instead of keywords.
