According to a new press release, “Kickbox, Inc., a leading real-time email verification company specializing in email deliverability, announced their certification to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework. Kickbox is the first email verification company to adopt Privacy Shield as part of its ongoing commitment to safeguard all customer data. According to the US Department of Commerce, the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework provides companies on both sides of the Atlantic with a mechanism to comply with EU data protection requirements when transferring personal data from the European Union to the United States.”

The release goes on, “With many customers in the EU, and as a former Safe Harbor participant, Kickbox has been attentive to the evolution of Privacy Shield. As a global business, becoming Privacy Shield compliant was an easy decision. ‘Protecting our customers’ data is paramount in our business. We want all of our stakeholders to know we take data privacy and security very seriously,’ says Dan Stevens, Kickbox’s Founder and CEO. As Kickbox continues to expand its global footprint, adapting to new privacy regulations is critical. The entire Kickbox team firmly believes that all citizens have a right to a safe, secure method for protecting their digital data. In support of this belief, Kickbox voluntarily adopted Privacy Shield because “it is simply the right thing to do,” says Stevens. With Kickbox’s existing privacy practices, transitioning to the new framework was seamless.”

The release adds, “Kickbox was among the first 30 companies, along with Microsoft, Salesforce and dotmailer to be approved under the Privacy Shield Framework and continues its commitment to comply with evolving data privacy and security regulations.”
