About the Webinar

This session will cover the data classification process from beginning to end.  It is based on the best practices in use by Enterprise Data Governance and Data Stewardship at Dun & Bradstreet, a leading provider of business credit data.  Data Sensitivity Classifications will be used as a working example.  We will start by explaining the importance of data classifications and walk through the types and levels of classifications required to meet your organization’s needs.  Next, we’ll review the culture change associated with making the data classification process part of your organization’s business as usual.  Helping data stewards perform data classifications will be covered.  We’ll also touch on ensuring you are prepared for global data differences between sensitive and personal data.  Lastly, we’ll touch on ensuring appropriate data handling controls are in place based on the classifications assigned to your data.
