More Expert Panels at SemTechBiz SF

Yesterday we announced an expert panel on that will be featured at next month's SemTechBiz Conference in San Francisco. But won't be the only hot topic at SemTechBiz. Two other expert panels are also happening on Wednesday, June 6: a panel on Wikis & Semantics as well as a panel on Semantic Analysis of Big Data.

During the first discussion, Wikis & Semantics, the panelists will discuss their experiences with combining wikis and semantic technology. Traditional wikis are some of the most successful platforms in existence for knowledge management and at creating consensus. Adding semantic technologies can boost both the range of items that users can collaborate over, as well as the depth of this collaboration. Further, combining wikis with semantics promises capabilities that are not possible in traditional wikis, such as crowd-based authoring of structured knowledge and socially-driven mashups.

The other panel, Semantic Analysis of Big Data will focus on the recent explosion of Big Data and how semantic technology help makes sense of the noise. Turning Big Data into knowledge and actionable intelligence requires technology able to structure unstructured information, understanding content and context. Semantic technology smoothly integrates and creates value from business data often ignored in unstructured text, enabling filtering and identifying connections and patterns in data.

Registration is still open for SemTechBiz San Francisco. See the full schedule here and register today.
