MerchantCircle is seeking a Director of IT Operations in Los Altos, CA. According to the post, “The Director IT Operations is responsible for managing and maintaining the companys production environment, supporting its core systems along with the successful integration of new systems and operating platforms acquired as part of the companys growth strategy. The Director IT Operations will report to the VP Engineering and will work very closely with other teams within the company including marketing, product management and administration.”
Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Manage high volume web application environments. Establish and monitor database replication and back-up processes. Experience with scalable mail delivery systems. Should be familiar with capacity planning for NoSQL datastores. Experience with site and system-level failover strategies. Experience with application deployment, resource deployments to CDNs. Successful at coordinating and collaborating with local and remote IT teams establishing strong working relationships across all MerchantCircle operations. Ability to build and manage a high performance IT operations team.”
