Cummins is looking for a Director of Technology Architecture in Columbus, IN, or Nashville, TN. The post states, “This role will be responsible for design, development, implementation and support of the technical future state infrastructure architecture for Cummins. This includes core infrastructure services such as systems, infrastructure, storage and networks as well as enterprise architecture components (e.g. middleware, web services, etc.) under the umbrella of loosely coupled, tightly integrated enterprise service oriented architecture. This position will establish the vision, strategy and roadmaps that align with business strategies and priorities for computer and network infrastructure architecture globally.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “10-15+ years experience in the architecture, design, development, and testing of high-volume, high-performance infrastructure, software and data systems. Functional Infrastructure Architecture how various solutions fit into the overall Enterprise Architecture. Deep knowledge of one or more technology solution domains (e.g. eCommerce, Middleware, Oracle Packaged Applications, Data Management, etc.) Knowledge of all key areas involved in web development: networking, bandwidth provisioning, security, load balancing, failover management, network management, caching, apache, databases (MySql, NoSql), etc.”
