The University of Florida’s Clinical and Translational Research Informatics Program is looking for an IT Expert with NoSQL experience. According to the post, “The candidate will manage projects and supervise team members working on the projects. The candidate will participate in application development using modern web technology and programming platforms in support of basic science and health care research. Applications include, but are not limited to, research collaboration software, image manipulation software tools, research grant life cycle workflow software, bio-repository applications, outcomes calculators and others still to be determined.”
Database management is one of the key functions of this position: “Understand the aspects of database management and performs daily database maintenance and performance optimizing using SQL syntax and systems like MS SQL Server, MySQL, and/or Oracle. Expected to know or be able to learn SPARQL, Semantic Data stores, and NoSQL.”
