Compuware is looking for a NoSQL Database Architect in Detroit, MI. The post states, “This is a unique opportunity to join a small, experienced team of fewer than 10 people and take on a significant role in charting the future for Compuware; a leading supplier of end-to-end application performance management tools across the Enterprise and the Internet for leading organizations around the world, including 46 of the top 50 Fortune 500 companies and 12 of the top 20 most visited U.S. web sites.”
It continues, “As a Database Architect on this team, you will help Compuware deal with massive volumes of data from diverse sources in real time. We are looking for an intuitive and driven database architect who has experience working with non-relational data stores (Hbase, Cassandra and others) as well as relational DBs (MySQL, PostgresSQL, or Oracle). You will work closely with designers, planners, testers, and marketing to envision, design, and prototype applications for incubator-like startup projects. As part of a small, interdisciplinary team, the ideal candidate would also have a working knowledge of a wide range of web application development. A command of a wide range of tools and methods and the ability to communicate ideas quickly and interactively are essential. We will look to this person to provide thought leadership and cross-product expertise across the engineering group.”
