Extole is looking for a Senior Analytics Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA. According to the post, “In this role you will develop sophisticated systems that aggregate data. This will entail designing and scaling ETL processes across multiple data sets from multiple applications and 3rd party data sources, as well as designing and building out infrastructure for non-realtime and realtime reporting. You will also design and build out log analytics reports for measuring application performance, fraud detection, and discover interesting patterns.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “ETL experience. Experience developing distributed systems, especially data stores. Database systems and algorithmic development (RDBMS, OLAP, Structured Storage). Experience building intensive data driven applications. Unit testing (JUnit) and documentation (Javadoc). Object Oriented Programming (Java, C++) and design (UML, patterns) a plus. NoSQL systems a plus. BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science. 7+ years relevant work experience.”
