What you’ll be doing: Diving deep into massive amounts of data from countless sources. Solving difficult data and statistical related issues. Aligning efforts with world-class product team to deliver big results that have immediate impact.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “MS/PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics or Engineering. 3-5 years professional Analysis experience. General understanding/knowledge of data mining. Experience with various techniques in data manipulation, consolidation and aggregation. Data analysis experience with non-formatted, unstructured, unclean data. Knowledge of pattern recognition. Experience with regression testing. Strong experience with Python, R, Java, and/or Matlab. Javascript experience. Experience working with databases such as MongoDB or NoSQL. Familiarity with Hadoop and MapReduce. Visualization/charting experience.”
