Genetic Finance is searching for a Senior Data Processing Engineer in San Francisco, CA. The post states, “We are looking for a motivated software professional to work in the Engineering group of an innovative software company. We take cutting edge Artificial Intelligence algorithms and apply them to a variety of complex problems; one of these problems involves huge amounts of stock market data. We are looking for someone who can take the lead in processing data, work on custom data solutions as well as managing our relational databases.”
Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Develop and maintain Java/C data processing applications. Administer numerous MySQL databases. Investigate/Develop NoSQL data stores such as Cassandra. Develop and maintain Apache/C custom data vending modules. Create the framework and tools to shepherd data from acquisition through final deployment.”
