Were looking for a strong self-driven senior programmer with great Ruby knowledge and the will to evolve. We’re currently mainly running Sinatra on MongoDB and some Rails, but are looking for someone with enough experience to adapt to new technologies as needed.”
Qualifications include the following: “Ruby & Rails skils. Proficient in MongoDB and/or MySQL. Other distributed databases (Riak, Memcached, Cassandra, Hbase, etc.). Caching techniques. SQL and NoSQL DB design skills. Testing (TDD & BDD knowledge is a plus). Start-up mentality. Autonomous, but a good team player. API Design, client-Server communication experience. Go, Scala & concurrency. Solr & search optimization. In memory caching and indexing. Fault-tolerant service architecture. Multi-data center and distributed data.”
