Wireless Generation is looking for a Senior Software Architect in Hoboken, NJ, with strong NoSQL experience. Wireless Generation is seeking someone to join “a new product development effort to create the future platform for education data and classroom-based applications; working with philanthropies, states, and school districts to gather and analyze requirements to create a service platform and application ecosystem capable of scaling to several terabytes of data and millions of users.”
Required experience includes, “5+ years of experience delivering sophisticated applications or data systems. 2+ years of experience leading small teams, establishing development practices, and mentoring individuals. Experience with NoSQL data stores (Cassandra, HBase, Mongo DB, CouchDB, etc). Expertise in several programming languages such as C++ or Java as well as OO design. Experience with a commercial or open-source BI stack, such as MS Analysis Services or Jasper is preferred.”
