HomeAway is looking for a Senior Software Developer in Denver, CO. The post states, “In this role, the ideal candidate will have the unique opportunity to work on development supporting the companies’ ecommerce initiative supporting online bookings through a global distribution system. He/she will have a critical role in the ongoing development of this system working on initiatives such as performance, scalability, compliance and new feature development. Take products from design to production. Develop new features and enhancements. Identify and implement recommendations for scalability and performance. Work with QA to ensure solid, bug-free releases. Maintain existing codebases across multiple product lines.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience. 4+ years of ASP.NET development experience. VB.NET, C#, .NET architecture, ASP.NET 4.0, SQL Server 2005/2008, T-SQL. Experience with API driven systems including WCF, SOAP and REST endpoints. Comprehension of complex system interactions involving systems both internal and external. Experience with source control including branching, merging and resolving conflicts. MongoDB or NoSQL experience. Experience using git. Experience with Agile methodology and Rally. Front End development skills – JavaScript, HTML, CSS. ASP.NET MVC 3+ experience.”
