The post states, “We are looking for senior technical staff member who enjoy working with large data sets, distributed systems, parallel processing and NoSQL databases. You will be part of the Rearden Commerce Feeds and Content team working to develop ground breaking feeds infrastructure. There will be significant communication and collaboration required with remote team members both in the US and in India. You must be able to work independently and thrive in a highly uncertain and fast-paced environment.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Experience developing highly scalable feeds processing systems. 8 years of software development experience. Strong Java development skills and object oriented design experience. SAAS Engineering and Operations process experience. Able to design, code, unit test, and debug complex software. Experience with NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, MongoDB). Strong RDBMS background (MySql and Oracle). JMS and Camel knowledge. Experience with Spring Batch or other batch processing frameworks. Experience working with globally distributed development teams.”
