Eventbrite is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Data Platform in San Francisco, CA. Responsibilities of this position include the following: “Design, Architect and Develop data pipeline and ETL processes. Contribute to end-to-end efforts to develop scalable internal and external analytics pipeline. Develop and scale streaming and batch based ETL. Create workflows for managing hundreds of data processing jobs. Constantly improve data pipeline by using and contributing to available open source tools.”
Qualifications include the following: “A CS ninja with excellent skills in Java, Python and other OOP languages. Experience creating ETL processes and building data-warehouses. Experience with Hadoop, MapReduce and NoSql (Not only SQL). Experience with reporting softwares like Tableau desired. Deep care of team play, collaboration, knowledge sharing. Deep care for test driven, agile, fault tolerant and highly scalable software development.”
