The post states, “This role will write code and make stuff work at a company built around delivering quality software in the emergency notification and IT alerting space.” The company is looking for candidates with the following strengths: “Strong server-side Java development background. Strong web development background; JavaScript and JS Framework (Jquery, Prototype, etc.), AJAX. Strong grasp of concurrent programming concepts. Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering OR equivalent combination of education training.”
Qualifications for the position include the following specific technologies: “Java, Junit, XML and XML Schema, Ant. Scripting is some language (Python, Perl, Scala, Groovy, etc.) Subversion. Apache Ivy. SQL and NOSQL. Jquery/Prototype. JSON. HTML, CSS. GIS (PostGIS, Open Layers and Shape Files in Particular). iOS and Android.”
