The Columbia University Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Clinical Informatics is looking for a Senior System Administrator in New York, NY. The division is looking for someone “who is a team oriented, classic LAMP stack engineer who knows how to setup, develop and maintain Linux, Apache, MYSQL, PHP + Javascript on redhat/fedora/centos distro for data integration research projects. The candidate will work on a wide range of never ending cool projects. Candidate must be professional, committed and have proven, real world experience. A bonus if you know NoSQL Hadoop, Riak, MongoDB, etc. Reporting to the Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery the candidate will participate in all aspects of the Clinical Informatics program technology and information technology infrastructure projects for the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery.”
It continues, “Specifically, the candidate provides computer technical expertise, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of modern multi-tiered, loosely coupled, web services and computer systems for the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery.”
