Symantec is looking for a Senior Technical Director in Mountain View, CA. The post states, “This role will lead the newly formed Threat & Risk Management Group within the Information Security Group to bring together products and technologies that are directly relevant and used by CISOs and their teams. The focus will be in market leading technologies in the areas of vulnerability management, security incident management, compliance, managed security services and DeepSight threat intelligence.”
Qualifications include the following: “Proven experience with security and compliance applications. Highly creative and innovation skills with proven record to innovate and create technology vision. Proven ability to architect and design large enterprise applications and SaaS offerings. Deep knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices. Demonstrated experience with various OS platforms including Windows, UNIX, Linux. Broad experience of programming techniques, object oriented concepts and familiarity with various programming languages including C/C++, C#, Java. Familiarity with Big Data trends and technologies including Hadoop, Cassandra and other related NoSQL technologies.”
