Early Warning Services is looking for a Solutions Architect in Scottsdale, AZ. This position will “Play an integral role in delivering new applications in a Big Data environment. Utilize advanced technical and scientific methods to research and evaluate technology solutions and collaborate with Software, Systems, and Network Engineering to identify and implement optimal components in the technology stack.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Must have 10 years of experience in an Enterprise IT environment. Broad and deep understanding of data center technologies, including server hardware, virtualization, networking, storage and security appliances. Fluency with Linux and Windows operating systems. Proficiency with application and database products, including WebSphere and Jboss application servers and Oracle databases. Experience with Big Data solutions, including various ETL and data processing applications. Experience with NoSQL solutions like Hadoop desirable. Experience with RDF and graph databases desirable. Ability to integrate across the organization, collaborate, and communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical staff. Strong scientific research skills.”
