EMC is looking for a Senior Technology Education Consultant. According to the post, “The primary role for the Technical Education Consultant is to manage all elements necessary for the successful design and delivery of training projects for emerging IT technologies, including those relevant to EMC’s core business goals and strategies. As part of the Emerging Technologies team within EMC Education Services, the candidate will be involved in researching various emerging technology trends relevant to EMC’s business strategies (such as cloud and big data), strategize with team members and management about potential course offerings, propose and support specific course offerings, develop training content and deliver training. The potential audience includes EMC technical personnel, EMC partners, external IT professionals and university students.”
Qualifications for the position include: “Strong technical aptitude and expertise as an application developer (web developer). Strong virtualization skills (VMware, Citrix, HyperV). Experience with contemporary PaaS offerings (Cloud Foundry, Windows Azure, Amazon Elastic Beanstalk, Engine Yard, Heroku, Google App Engine). Database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL). Familiarity or experience with Service Oriented Architectures. Solid understanding of software development processes, including web development processes. Experience with RESTful web services. Knowledge of, or experience with, cloud services and technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). A knowledge of, and ideally experience with, Agile development processes.”
