Ticketfly is looking for a Vice President of Engineering in San Francisco, CA. The post states, “We are seeking a VP of Engineering to lead our team and help drive the company into the next frontier. This is a high profile, high visibility position working with and being a part of our Executive Team. You should be passionate about mentoring and growing engineering talent, and building scalable mission critical web technology. We are at a tipping point where we see tremendous growth so we need to scale fast and in a very big way!” Responsibilities include: “Own the entire technology stack. Lead our engineering team which we anticipate will grow to 20 in the next few months. Recruit, motivate and mentor engineering talent. Provide vision and set technical direction across all functions. Qualifications include: “Experience building large-scale web services platforms. Experience leading and growing large (30+) and small (less than 10) teams. Strong engineering and technology background – not afraid to get down and dirty. Enthusiasm for open source technologies to create the richest and coolest features in web development. Proficient in Java, Spring and Hibernate and both SQL and NoSQL data stores. Excellent oral and written communication skills. B.S. in C.S. or equivalent from a top school. Masters degree or higher a plus.”
