Off Campus Media (OCM) is looking for a Vice President of Technology & Development for Bonfyre, a location-based mobile application. The position is located in St. Louis, MO. According to the post, “OCM is seeking a Vice President of Technology and Development to serve as a key member of the executive team responsible for the design, development and management of the information systems, software and supporting IT infrastructure systems for Bonfyre.” Responsibilities include: “Manage and participate in strategic planning for the company. Clearly define technical requirements and needs for company to reach goals. Collaborate with executive team to analyze and prioritize development. Day-to-day oversight of all technology operations and information systems performance. Create and manage efficient and productive development efforts. Clearly articulate success, milestones and performance metrics for team and projects.”
Qualification for the position include: “3-5+ years of technology leadership and management experience. Experience developing software in an agile environment. Demonstrated passion for software and mobile application development. Expert-level knowledge of iOS, Objective C, Java, Android and MySQL. Understanding or experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.) Expert-level understanding of relational database concepts and practices (scalability). Familiarity with various testing methods including regression, acceptance, functional and load testing. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Positive, team-oriented attitude. Experience with UI/UX is a plus.”
