The inaugural NoSQL Now! Conference is just around the corner. The event will take place August 23-25 in San Jose, CA, and will feature a number of top companies in the NoSQL space. Sponsors of the event include 10gen, Tagged, Phasic Systems Inc, Versant, and Calpont Corporation, among others.
According to the conference website, Tagged “will be debuting Stig at the conference, the open-source distributed graph-database built to be flexible and easy for Web programmers to access quickly, yet powerful enough for large scale, real-time cloud applications with millions of users and billions of page view per month.” Tagged is “the leading social network for meeting new people and has established the category of social discovery. Based in San Francisco, Tagged is an INC 500 Fasted Growing Company, profitable since 2008, and recently named one of the Top 10 places to work in the Bay Area.” The company is currently hiring.
Conference attendees will also get to learn from 10gen, the company that develops MongoDB and “offers production support, training, and consulting for the open source database. 10gen was founded by former DoubleClick Founder and CTO Dwight Merriman and former DoubleClick engineer and ShopWiki Founder and CTO Eliot Horowitz. Dwight and Eliot began development on MongoDB in 2007, drawing upon their experiences building large scale, high availability, robust systems.”
