This presentation provides an overview of the Enterprise Data Governance program approach Walgreens has implemented to date to fully manage its corporate data as an enterprise asset.

Michael Jennings is a recognized industry expert in enterprise information management. He has more than twenty-five years of information management experience in various industries. He speaks frequently on enterprise information management concepts and practices at major industry conferences. Mike is a co-author of the book “Universal Meta Data Models” (2004) and a contributing author to the books “Building and Managing the Meta Data Repository” (2000) and “The DAMA Guide to the Data Management Body of Knowledge – DMBOK” (2009). He was recognized in Information Management Magazine’s 25 Top Information Managers for 2012.
Janet Lichtenberger, Project Manager,Walgreens
Janet Lichtenberger is an information management consultant and professional with broad experience across industries. Her skills include program strategy and implementation, data governance and stewardship, project management, business requirements, data and process modeling, master and reference data management, data policy development, client consulting, and business intelligence/data warehousing. She is currently engaged in building the Enterprise Data Governance program at Walgreens.
