Objectivity, a leading provider of object and graph databases, has recently seen a spike in business with fourteen different companies turning to Objectivity for solutions to their Big Data problems. The company reports, “Many companies in Asia, Europe and the U.S. have deployed new pilot programs in order to overcome limitations of relational databases and the power of real-time analytics with respect to solving their objectives. ‘It’s becoming increasingly clear that business intelligence tools and relational databases are only able to handle 15% of today’s data. Companies in competitive spaces coupled with a tough global economy, understand that accurate, real-time decision support of all your data is the difference between recognizing opportunities or losing to the competition,’ said Jay Jarrell, president and CEO of Objectivity.”
The article continues, “For more than 20 years, Objectivity has been the only provider of commercial graph and object databases with customers in the telecom, security, financial services and energy industries. Companies like Ericsson, CUNA Mutual, Siemens, Northrop Grumman, McKesson and Raytheon have used Objectivity to power some of their most powerful real-time applications for nearly 15 years. In January, Objectivity announced customers leveraging its NoSQL solutions and the renewal of existing long-term customers including: Bocad Software, Deloitte, FROX communication, Iridium Satellite LLC, L-3 ComCept, Inc., the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Navy. The company also announced three new partnership deals with IPL, HM Informatik and Nextgen.”
