Aetna is looking for a Senior Software Integration Engineer in San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY. A senior software engineer will provide technical leadership and direction within a cross functional team and across teams to incrementally and iteratively deliver software products to market. Qualifications include the following: "In depth knowledge of scrum/kanban and agile technical practices (TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment). In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming - Java/Groovy/Grails | Ruby/Rails. Working knowledge of Web Ontology Language (OWL) and Resource Description Framework (RDF). Experience with JSON & BSON protocols/formats, REST and Web API concepts and WS-* protocols. Experience with large scale databases (ex. DB2/Oracle), experience with NoSQL alternatives (ex. Mongo, Couch or Neo4J). Experience with caching technologies (MemCache, Coherence, EHCache). Knowledge of one or more healthcare data standards and protocols (ASC X12/Insurance Claims, HL7 v2.5.x, CCD, LOINC, SNOWMED-CT, NCPDP) not immediately required but a plus."
