A social media company is searching for a Chief Technology Officer in  Santa Monica, CA. According to the post, “Social Media Company is seeking a CTO to lead, manage, and grow our talented Product Engineering Department. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing implementation of complex, highly-scalable software solutions. Our company is at the vanguard of social media interest graph technology. We are seeking a leader with proven experience developing and delivering projects while bridging the gap between business and technology. We offer excellent benefits, vacation, bonuses, and aggressive stock option package.”

 

Qualifications for the position include: “Must have successful track record of leading a minimum team of 3 or more software developers. Experience designing complex solutions for software applications using an OpenSource stack. Deep understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design best practices and standards, including creating UML artifacts such as Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, and Component Diagrams. Experience with Semantic Technologies such as linked data, Freebase, DBpedia, RDF, OWL, SPARQL and triplestores. Any experience working with Big Data.”
