Qualifications for the position include: "BS/MS in computer science, information systems, life sciences, or similar. 4+ years of designing ETL processes, designing data transfer and synchronization schemes, and implementing complex ETL workflows. Solid understanding of operational and dimensional database models, including logical and physical design using SQL Server, Oracle, or similar. Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development and/or healthcare IT, and working knowledge of standard medical terminologies, coding systems and data standards. Familiarity with NoSQL databases, including Solr, MongoDB, CouchDB, or similar. Familiarity with Hadoop or other distributed data stores and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with semantic web, OWL, RDF."
