The role position is accountable for aspects of data architecture, data integration and solution development in support of the EII mission. Qualifications include: "10+ years of experience developing solutions using object oriented languages. Post-graduate degree or 5-10 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical and Biotech sector. Building and deploying solutions on Linux host platforms. Theory and application of text mining technologies and statistical analysis. Cloud computing paradigm, AWS, “spinning up” AMIs for burst computing needs. Identity and authorization standards (XACML, SAML, OAUTH, SCIM) and their application. Semantic Web W3C standards (OWL, RDF, Sparql) and the linked data paradigm. Semantic data modeling; ontologies and taxonomies; use of tools such as TopBraid Composer. Building solutions with web-scale technologies; e.g., Hadoop, Solr, Hive, HBase, Zookeeper, Sqoop, Cassandra. Evidence of adaptability and broad learning agility in technical and business domains. "
