According to the post, the responsibilities of this position include “providing technical leadership/guidance to various components developing mission capabilities. Technical guidance will include helping these programs turn existing products into massively scalable enterprise-class tools. Responsible for conducting product evaluations, performing engineering studies and developing prototypes that integrate several tools and services to meet mission needs. Ideal candidate will have extensive experience with latent semantic indexing (LSI) applications.” Desired skills for the position include, “Experience with search and/or discovery applications and web services. Experience/interest in Hadoop, cloud computing, and mass analytics. Experience/interest in linguistic processing or semantics. Experience/interest in recommendation systems or machine learning.”
