The team identifies time-consuming internal data flows and processes and then builds Master Data Services that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You listen to and translate Googler’s data services needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and work with Google technical team to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently."
Qualifications for the position include: "Hand-on experience with commercial/OSS technologies in the following areas Ontology/RDF/OWL Data Distribution - Query Federation, Query Optimization, Messaging, Deltas, Batches, Synchronous/Asynchronous. Significant familiarity with designing services that are stateless, event driven, asynchronous, non-blocking, low-latency, horizontally elastically scalable on a cloud based architecture. Past experience as a lead developer in any of the leading Master Data Management products- Informatica/Siperian, IBM Infosphere MDM, Oracle CDH, Siebel UCM, SAP NetWeaver MDM, Tibco MDM, Adaptive, Collibra, SAS Data Flux, Pentaho, Talend, etc. Experience in supply chain, supplier, manufacturer and customer concepts is preferred. Additionally, candidates using these languages should apply: Xquery, SPARQL. Experience working on a variety of enterprise applications and problems."
