L-3 is looking for a Systems Engineer in Annapolis, MD. The post states, “The DoD Secure Configuration Management (SCM) Research and Development program is focused on evolving, integrating and implementing cybersecurity and information assurance solutions and risk scoring analytical algorithms to enable timely device discovery and identification, continuous monitoring to evaluate device compliance and assess vulnerabilities necessary to rapidly mitigate and or remediate risks minimizing threat vectors and ensuring operational resiliency.   To support these efforts, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work in a collaborative team environment with a focus on analytic problem solving, designing and prototyping enterprise solutions.”


Qualifications for the position include: “A minimum of ten years experience in technical program management and/or software development. A minimum of ten years experience developing relational database applications in Oracle, SQL Server or Sybase. Must be proficient in data modeling and data manipulation. Solid working knowledge of .NET frameworks 3.5/4.0 and higher. Proven proficiency in Object Oriented design and development using Java, C++, and C#. Demonstrated experience with Hadoop, Accumulo, Storm, Hbase, Rya, Sesame and tuning Map Reduce Programs. Familiar with semantic systems integration techniques including Enterprise Ontology Development. Familiar with web services, JSON, REST, WSDL, SOAP. Familiar with semantic web tools and technologies such as Protégé Ontology Editor, JENA Reasoner, Pellet Reasoner, Sesame RDF Store, RYA.”
